This existing oceanfront residence showcases newly added elements including a pool area, arbor, tennis court and studio space. The pool area is set at an elevation to offer views of the ocean. Surfaces of wood deck and stone help reveal a secluded, beachy feel. The arbor is covered with trumpet vine to help provide shade and interest to the pool area.
The tennis court is sunken with a concrete and wood wall surrounding it. A small arbor provides a shaded space to the area for lounging and viewing. The studio was conceived as a “green building” covered in Boston ivy which grows very well in the oceanfront environment.
