Nestled within the Amagansett dunes, the Shore house is designed to take advantage of the spectacular site while being sensitive to the native landscape surrounding it. A sedum planted green roof and native plant palette of bayberry, winterberry, American holly, switch grass and American beach grass work together to bring the dune right into the house, while strategically screening near-by neighbors. A refined wood lathe boardwalk winds its way through the beach grass to the ocean and crushed grit pathways provide low-impact circulation around the award winning house.
